Summary

The spray foam construction manager will be responsible for running the daily operations of our spray foam division on both residential and commercial projects. Spray foam 1knowledge and experience is a must as the position will be responsible for estimating, project execution, equipment maintenance as well as administrative duties.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Estimating residential and commercial spray foam work
  • Manage schedule, manpower and equipment
  • Administrative duties such as invoicing, time sheet approval
  • Prepare and negotiate contract revisions, change orders and site extras with clients
  • Material procurement and management
  • Site visits, coordination with operations team as well as clients
  • Hold meetings with operations team and clients
  • Manage communication and web portals for builders
  • Oversee quality control and safety on sites
  • Work closely with accounting team to ensure documentation is submitted on time
  • Prepare and submit project close out documentation

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in spray foam industry
  • Knowledge of equipment, products, applications, and assemblies
  • Vast knowledge of building envelope/building science
  • Supervisory experience
  • Intermediary computer experience
  • Mechanically inclined

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, negotiation and leadership skills
  • Ability to quickly build strong relationships and resolve complex issues
  • Capacity to read, interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings and specifications
  • Capacity to work independently to proactively and creatively solve problems
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, adhering to strict deadlines and commitments

Summary

Empire Drywall is looking for a project manager with enough experience to successfully execute projects in commercial construction. They will take ownership of all stages of the project; from working closely with the estimator at bidding stage, to submitting final documents and completing warranty work at the end of the job, the PM will manage all facets of project. The project manager is expected to complete projects at or under budget, to a high level of quality and on schedule.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Assist with bidding and job procurement stage
  • Manage schedule, manpower and site coordination
  • Prepare and negotiate contract revisions, change orders and site extras with clients
  • Communicate with client regarding the project
  • Hire, train, manage and direct operations team to assist in project execution
  • Hold and attend meetings with operations team and/or clients
  • Oversee quality control and safety on site
  • Approve and submit sub-contractor invoices and employee time sheets
  • Work closely with accounting team to ensure documentation is submitted on time
  • Help prepare monthly progress billings
  • Prepare and submit project close out documentation

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3 years’ experience in commercial project management
  • 7-10 years in the drywall industry, including hands on field experience
  • Track record of successfully completing projects
  • Supervisory experience in managing people
  • Intermediary computer skills
